  2. Dear Nesta acca, Jenita acca, Rita acca Anandan and families,

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on losing your dear mummy and “paatti”.

I have known Helen aunty for more than 40 years and have visited her many times when I was living in Colombo and Australia.

Helen aunty is ever so gentle and soft spoken. Her faith in the Lord was so admirable and she also led a very faithful life. Her trust in God has made her not to take any medications throughout her healthy life until she was 99 years old.

Everyone loved her pinwheel biscuits and her   “paitham paniyaram” triplets .We would get parcels of yummy items  from aunty even when we were in Jaffna  or in Perth without fail.

Our parents (amma and aiyah ) were so elated when uncle and aunty made it to Jaffna during the seventies.

As you steer through the emotions of grief, may you find solace in the promise of resurrection, where you will one day be reunited with dear mummy and daddy  in the eternal kingdom.

  8. Dear Ruben and Paati’s Family,

I am deeply saddened to hear about Nirosha and family’s dear sweet Paati. She seemed like a kind soul with a beautiful heart. I can only imagine that this must be where Niro gets it from. Paati was blessed with a long life, and I hope you all carry forward the lessons she has shared over the years in your daily lives.

May God rest her soul. Wishing you all strength and comfort. Please lean on one another and take care of each other during this difficult time.

    Sending my condolences,

  9. Dear Ruben and Paati’s Family.

It is with great sorrow for you that I learn of Paati’s passing. Although I never met her I feel close to her from the wonderful stories my daughter-in-law Nirosha has shared. She lived a wonderfully long life and was able to touch so many in those nearly one hundred years. May she rest in peace and watch over those who love her until you meet again.

    Sincerely,
