Yoshana (Jo) was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, a Medical Doctor, qualified in London, (UK). Practiced medicine in UK, Australia and Florida, USA as an Internist.

Beloved wife of Murugan Rajaratnam, affectionate mother of Viji and Krishan, cherished daughter of late Dr.Rasiah Pathmanathan and late Mrs.Puvaneswary Patmanathan passed away in Clearwater, Florida, USA.

  1. My sister Gayathiri and Yoshana (Jo) were classmates at Chundikuli Girls’ College. Our condolences to the family.

My eldest daughter Anushiya and Dr. Yoshana were classmates at Chundikuli Girls College and my other daughter Slojana, my wife and I knew her and her late parents since 1975 who were all humble and affectionate friends. Our heart felt condolences to her uncle Mr. Mahendra and her cousins Dr. Narendra and Easha. May her soul rest in peace together with her late parents. Ohm Shanthi – Shanthi – Shanthi.


  3. May the Supreme Shiva take care of her wonderful athma. Blessings to be around her and now she is part of the Cosmos forever. I am fortunate to know and spend lots of time with Jo and Murugan.
