Puvanendran Sithamparapillai : It is with a heavy heart that the Sithamparapillai family announce that Puvanendran Sithamparapillai (also known as Rajan and Puvi) was called to rest on 31 October 2021 in Denton, Texas, USA.

Beloved husband of Thayalam (nee Amirthanayagam of Tellipallai), much loved father of Patrick and Dr. Sarah, loving son of late NS Sithamparapillai (Station Master, Ceylon Government Railways) and late Saraswathi, cherished youngest brother of late Pusparaja Sithamparapillai , late Pushparani Thirrunavukkarasu (Rani), Pushpadevi Sithamparapillai (Ranji, Sri Lanka), Pushpamirtham Sabaratnam (Baba, Sri Lanka), Pushparagam Alagaratnam (Mano, Sri Lanka), late Pushpalayam Sivagurunathan (Gnanam), Sarojini  Subramaniam (Pillai, Canada) and Stephen Puvendran (Indran, Canada).  Rajan will be missed by many of his nieces and nephews and many of his grand nieces and nephews across the globe.

Rajan was born in Chundikuli, Jaffna, studied at St Johns’ College and worked at the Bank of Ceylon (Colombo) before he migrated to Canada and then to Texas, USA.  

Please uphold Sithamparapillai family in your prayers and pray for Rajans’s dear soul to be in eternal repose with Jesus.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4 November 2021, at 5-7 pm at  Bill DeBerry Funeral Home , 2025 W. University Dr, Denton, Texas, USA.

To celebrate the life of Mr. Puvanendran Sithamparapillai, a Thanksgiving Service will be held on Friday, 5 November 2021 at 10. 30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 2255, N. Bonnie Brae St, Denton, Texas 76207.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, family is kindly requesting all the attendees to follow all the Government regulations and protocols that are currently in place.

Samuel Ebenezar Manoharan (Mohan): Formerly of Point Pedro, Jaffna, Sri Lanka called to be with the Lord on 23 October 2021, London, United Kingdom.

Beloved husband of Clotilda (Mano), adoring father of Talitha Dushiyanthie (Dushy), loving son of  late W.N.S Samuel (former Principal of Hartley College) & late Inpamani Samuel,  much loved eldest brother of Dr.S.D. Vasikaran (Perth), S.G. Kirubakaran (Perth) and S.T. Prabaharan (UK).  Manoharan will be missed and fondly remembered by his relatives and friends across the globe.

Manoharan was the Chief Financial Officer of Consumers International (UK) , was the Head Prefect of Hartley College and the former President of the Hartley College Old Boys’ Association- London (HCPPA-UK).

Thanksgiving Service (UK time):

To celebrate the life of Manoharan Samuel, a Thanksgiving Service will be held on Thursday, 11 November  at  All Saints Church, Woodford Wells, 1G8 0NH. Please be seated at 12. 45 pm.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions,  all the attendees to follow the Government regulations and protocols that are currently in place.

Hilda Sugirthamathy Ratnam (Retired Teacher) Formerly of Love Lane, Uduvil, Jaffna was embraced by God on 26 September 2021 in Melbourne, Australia.

Dearly beloved wife of late Prince Ratnam, adored mother of Godwin Theepam (Melbourne), Renita Shiranee (London), Shaun Prithee (Singapore) and Sherina Dharmini (Melbourne), loved mother-in-law of Jeyantha, late Sritharan, Mary Kumutha and Sugirthakumar, cherished grandma and precious great grandma.

Much loved daughter of late Mr & Mrs Thampiyappa and treasured sister of Patricia Jeyathilake, Stanley, Kingsley, Wesley and Anasley.

Loving Hilda will be remembered and cherished forever.

Thanksgiving Service : Due to COVID restrictions in Melbourne, family will be having a private Thanksgiving Service to celebrate the life of their dear mother. Please note that extra visitors (other than the family of 10 ) will incur hefty fine for breaking the law.

Loving daughter of late Srikantha and Grace Somasundaram, dearly beloved wife of Raja Thampapillai, loving mother of Rukshana and Shehan, cherished sister of Shirani Kandasamy, Jayantha Somasundaram, and the late Shohan & Suresh Somasundaram, mother-in-law of Afdhel and Kerry and loving grandmother of Nuri, Koshi and Arivan.

Mrs. Pushparani Manohara Thirunavukkarasu (nee Sithamparapillai) of Chundikuli, Jaffna was called to rest on 12 March 2019. (Retired teacher of Kolumputhurai Hindu Maha Vithyalayam and  Sinhala Maha Vithyalayam, Jaffna) 

(Born:  31.12 1926  –  Rest: 12.03. 2019)  

Beloved wife of late Thirunavukkarasu Arunasalam (Retired teacher Stanley College now known as Kanakarathinam Mathiya Maha Vithiyalam), loving mother of Professor Easwarakanthan (France), late Indralosani (Retired teacher, Kanakarathinam MMV),  Luxmikanthi (Al-Hikma College, Colombo) and  Kathirkamanathan (Education Department, Jaffna),  loving Mother-in- law of Kaladevi (France), late Umakanthan, Kannuthurai and Yalini, sister of late Pusparaja , Pushpadevi (Ranji), Pushpamirtham (Baba), Pushparagam (Mano), late Pushpalayam (Gnanam), Sarojini  (Pillai – Canada), Puvendran (Indran- Canada) and  Puvanendran (Rajan –USA),  grandmother of Thirukumaran,  Aynkaran (Singapore),  Umaiyal (Australia), Gauthami, Tharmini (France),  Tharshini (France), Thayalini (France), Janarthan and Janani,  great -grand -mother of   Darunya and  Mirunya.

Cremation was held at Kompaiyanmannal Mayaanam on the 14 March 2019.

யாழ் சுண்டிக்குளியை பிறப்பிடமாகவும் வதிவிடமாகவும் கொண்ட  திருமதி புஷ்பராணி மனோகரா திருநாவுக்கரசு மார்ச் 12, 2019   அன்று இறைவனடி சேர்ந்தார். (ஓய்வுபெற்ற ஆசிரியை, கொழும்புத்துறை இந்து மகா வித்தியாலயம்,  யாழ்/ சிங்கள மகா வித்தியாலயம்)

அன்னார் காலம் சென்ற ஓய்வுபெற்ற ஆசிரியர் திருநாவுக்கரசு [யாழ்/கனகரத்தினம் மத்திய மகா வித்தியாலயம் (ஸ்ரான்லி கல்லூரி)] அவர்களின் அன்பு மனைவியும், பேராசிரியர் ஈஸ்வரகாந்தன் (பிரான்ஸ்), காலம் சென்ற இந்திரலோசனி (ஓய்வுபெற்ற ஆசிரியை, யாழ்/கனகரத்தினம் ம.ம.வி) லக்ஷ்மிகாந்தி ( ஆசிரியை, அல்/ஹிக்மா கல்லூரி, கொழும்பு), கதிர்காமநாதன் (யாழ்ப்பாணக் கல்வி வலயம்) ஆகியோரின் அருமைத் தாயாரும், கலாதேவி (பிரான்ஸ்), காலம் சென்ற உமாகாந்தன்,கண்ணுத்துரை, யாழினி ஆகியோரின் அன்பு மாமியாரும், காலம் சென்ற புஷ்பராசா, புஷ்பதேவி (ரஞ்சி), புஷ்ப அமிர்தம் (பபா), புஷ்பராகம் (மனோ), காலம் சென்ற புஷ்பஆலயம் (ஞானம்), சரோஜினி [பிள்ளை (கனடா)], பூவேந்திரன்[இந்திரன் (கனடா)], புவனேந்திரன் [ராஜன் (கனடா)]  ஆகியோரின் அன்புச் சகோதரியும், திருக்குமரன், ஐங்கரன் (சிங்கப்பூர்), உமையாள் (அவுஸ்திரேலியா), கௌதமி, தர்மினி (பிரான்ஸ்), தர்ஷினி (பிரான்ஸ்), தயாளினி (பிரான்ஸ்), ஜனார்த்தன், ஜனனி ஆகியோரின் அன்புப் பாட்டியும், டாருண்யா, மிருனியா ஆகியோரின் பாசமுள்ள பூட்டியுமாவார்.

அன்னாரின் ஈமக்கிரியைகள் கோம்பயன்மணல் இந்து மயானத்தில் மார்ச் 14 ம் திகதி  நடை பெற்றது.

உற்றார் உறவினர் நண்பர்கள் இவ் அறிவித்தலை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளவும்.

Dear wife of Randy Asirwatham,​ beloved mother of Suzanne and mother-in-law of Dan,​ loving grandma of Bethany and Daniella,​ daughter of Indra Devabalan,​ sister of Mohan (Canada),​ Sister Shirani,​ Dharshini Rajkumar and sister-in-law of Chitra Thevathason,​ passed away peacefully in London on the 19th January 2019. Thanksgiving Service was held on Thursday, 31 January at the Universal Pentecostal Church, London. 011103
