Mrs. Florence Jebamalar Albert (nee Williams) : Formerly of Martin Road, Jaffna and later in Colombo, called to rest on September 23, 2024 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Beloved wife of late J N Albert and precious mother of Rev. Dr. AW Jebanesan (Canada)(Former President of the Methodist Church Mission, Sri Lanka), Jebavathanee (Norway), Jebadharshini (Colombo), Jebaranjan (Switzerland) and Jebaruban(Switzerland), loving mother-in-Law of Priyanthy, Lalit Chelliah, Xavier, Sripriya and Grace.

Loving and affectionate grandmother of Jason, Ivan, Joel, Jessica, Deborah, Dr. Chrisjit, Micky, Dominic, Melany, Jeremy, Isaac, and Miriam and great-grand mother of Anya, Alena, and Jonas.

Florence Jebamalar is a loving sister of late Gloria Williams, late Wilfred Williams, Freda Paramananthan, Gracie Perinpanayagam, George Williams and late Winston Williams, sister-in-law of late Helen Williams, late Paramananthan, late Perinpanayagam, Marlyn Williams and Pushparany Williams.

Please accept the obituary notice from the Albert family and request the relatives and friends to uphold the family in prayers and pray for their dear mother’s soul to be in eternal repose with Jesus.

Visitation and Thanksgiving Service arrangements (all Sri Lankan times):

Venue: Mahinda Florists and Funeral Directors – 591 Galle Rd Mount Lavinia

First visitation: September 25 from 9 AM – 7 PM

Second visitation: September 26 from 9 AM – 3:30 PM. 

Thanksgiving Service: September 26 at 3.30 pm

To celebrate the life of Mrs. Florence Jebamalar Albert, a Thanksgiving Service will be held on Sunday September 26 at 3.30 pm at Mahinda parlour, followed by the burial service at the Mount Lavinia Public Cemetery.
