Gnanaselvam Christy Premakumar (Civil Engineer) formally of Usan, an old boy of St.Johns College called to eternal rest in Jaffna on Saturday 13 February 2021.

Christy (Prem) is dearly beloved husband of Christina Dharshini (Accountant, St.Johns’ College, Jaffna), affectionate father of Noel Rukshan (UK), Joel Anukshan (HNB, Nelliaddy), caring father-in-law of Dimple Thishanthy (UK) and Joanne Shalini (interpreter- Danish Consulate), adored grandfather of Kezia Michelle, much loved son of Late N.Gnanaselvam and late Poomalar (Malar), dear son-in-law of late Pararajasingam and Pathmarani, much loved brother of Premaranjani (Ranjini) Somanader and Premakumari (Kumari) Pushparajah (Retired Teacher) and loving brother-in-law of Somanader, Pushparajah, Jeyanthan (Canada), Suganthan, Thusyanthan and Christie (Proprieter – Para Lights)

Christy specialised in the field of Civil Engineering, formerly of Walker and Sons, China International Water and Electric Corporation (Maldives), Department of Buildings: UNDP Jaffna and a Managing Partner of Christy Construction.

FUNERAL DETAILS AS FOLLOWS:

Viewing: Thursday, 25 February, 8 am – 3 pm at White House Parlour, 181 Main Street Jaffna.

Funeral Service: Thanksgiving Service will be held at 3 pm at Whitehouse parlour followed by burial service at American Ceylon Mission Cemetry, Arali, Jaffna
